Paul Bott

Paul Bott

Chief Executive

Paul has spent the last 20 years working in charities at both local and national levels. He has worked extensively with the Home Office, Department for Education and the Big Lottery. These nationally significant programmes remain important to the communities they work with, due to remaining locally relevant.

Paul joined Vista as Chief Executive in 2012, and has refocussed the charity on three key aims; preventing avoidable sight loss, reducing the impact of sight loss, and providing support and care for people with sight loss. This has led to the development of partnerships with charities across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and with sight loss organisations across the country. Vista is now the largest and fastest growing local sight loss charity in the UK.

Paul is also a Board member of the LLEP and of Nottingham Trent Students Union.
