Advice and Information Service

This service aims to provide timely advice and information to visually impaired people visiting hospitals in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, to enable them to access appropriate support and to prevent a loss of independence.  The service also provides a helpline and single point of contact or  sign-post people to other agencies to enable them or their families to better cope with their sight loss and maintain their independence.

• You can receive information and advice about  the registration process,
• Information relating to the other services available to you from Vista,
• Practical and relevant advice on coping with sight loss
• Sign-posting to other agencies who may be able to support you
