Mr Leicestershire hosted a Summer Ball on Saturday 17 June, raising £575 for Vista.

Grant Cotton, of Anstey, is the current Mr Leicestershire since winning the title on St Patrick’s Day 2016. Since being crowned, Grant has worked on establishing the Mr Leicestershire title professionally, by supporting local charities, communities, schools and networking events.

Taking place at Beaumanor Hall, Grant invited Vista to the Summer Ball for an evening of live entertainment, raffles, live auctions and dinner. Vista talked about the support and services they offer for people with sight loss, along with three other charities. The event was not only to raise money, but to also raise awareness of life-changing charitable work.

Becky Poole, Community and Corporate Fundraiser at Vista, said “This was a lovely event that raised money for four great charities. It’s a fantastic amount of money which will help to continue our vital services for people with sight loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.”
