Vista Member Forum

A reminder that the next Vista Member Forum meeting is taking place on Saturday 30th January at the Vista Shop on Hotel Street, from 10am to 12.30pm.

Our Chair of Trustees and other members of the Board will be in attendance, so it's a great opportunity to get to know the Trustees and let them know your thoughts on what matters to you and what you would like to see Vista do in the future.

At the last meeting in October the Forum agreed the main issues they would like to campaign on including improving how helpful some Arriva bus drivers are, and the provision of access and audio description in our cinemas and theatres.

The Forum is open to any adult registered with Vista and is a good place to make your voice heard and share information and experiences with other people with sight loss.

The minutes of the meetings are available on request via the Vista Helpline - 0116 249 8839. If you have access to email you can join the Forum Discussion Group, let the Helpline know and they will give your email address to the members, who will be in contact.

There is also an informal get together of Forum Members on Saturday 23rd January at the Hotel Street Shop at 10.30am, if you are unable to make the formal meeting on the 30th January.

Please do come along or join the email group - the more people who join the stronger our voices will be.
