Volunteers’ Week (1 – 12 June) is the biggest week in the volunteering calendar, which recognises the contribution of local volunteers.

This year, Volunteers' Week is focused on The Big Celebration, encouraging organisations to highlight stories of individuals who already volunteer and have made a huge difference within their communities.

We have spoken to a few of our brilliant volunteers across a range of services at Vista, finding out how and why they got involved, and what they really enjoy about volunteering with us...

Over 250 Vista volunteers help us to carry out our life-changing work, providing over 1000 hours of support every month.

We appreciate that time is precious, and are grateful for the time our volunteers kindly give to Vista.

We get to hear the fantastic stories about the difference volunteers make in the lives of people of sight loss, and wanted to say thank you.

Would you like to volunteer for Vista? Please visit our volunteering vacancies page – or for one-off occasions, visit our volunteering events page.
