Volunteering Opportunities

Vista is very proud of its volunteers. We currently have over 500 who are helping Vista to offer services for blind and partially sighted people.

There is not a specific amount of time that you must volunteer your time for; just as many hours as you can spare. Anyone is welcome to volunteer for Vista and we have a vast range of opportunities that we need your help with, including:

  • Recording newspapers.
  • Helping out with children's activities.
  • Helping at our social events.
  • Collecting our boxes.
  • Taking part in collections.
  • Providing help within the Resources Centre.
  • Helping at fundraising events.
  • Helping to escort blind and partially sighted people, on foot or by car.
  • Volunteering at the New Wycliffe and Kathleen Rutland Homes.
