Charity Shop Assistant Manager - Shepshed

You will assist with the achievement of shop income targets and generate maximum profits through the sale of donated goods and the effective management of the shop. You will also help to raise the profile and awareness of the work of Vista within the local community.

You will need:

·        experience of working or volunteering in a retail environment, with experience and understanding of working towards sales and profit targets.

·        great interpersonal and communication skills

·        initiative and the ability to effectively organise and plan

·        great customer service and the ability to use IT packages to a good standard.

You will be required to work 14 hours per week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the ability to cover for holidays and sickness in the absence of a manager.

Experience of working within the charity sector and managing volunteers is desirable but not essential.
