Ride in the Park with Leicester Wheels for All
Vista are working with Leicester Wheels For All, a charity whose goal is to get as many people cycling as possible, regardless of age, ability, or any perceived disability. They have been working closely with Vista's residential homes to offer cycling experiences to our residents and members and have received nothing but praise.
On Friday the 3rd of May, they will be hosting a 'ride in the park', with a wide range of accessible cycles. The idea is to get as many people as possible to get out on a bike ride, especially people who never thought they would be able to ride a bike again, or maybe not rode one since being younger.
The bikes available are all specialist bikes, there will be 2 Rickshaws (owned by LCC) wheelchair platform bikes, trikes and more, all enabling people of any age and ability to enjoy the feeling of fresh air blowing through their hair, enjoying the experience of freedom and the beauty of Abbey Park.
