The Holosophic Society UK hosted a music and dance event in aid of Vista, raising over £3,000 in total.

Taking place on Sunday 4 December at Judgemeadow Community College, the concert showcased a variety of diverse music. It is the third annual event to have been organised by the society.

With vibrantly coloured attire and talented musicians, the event charmed and entertained the local community.

There were performances from Sitar students of Roopa Panesar; Naditha Raghavan of Nupur Arts; the Bhangra Blast Academy; the Kainé Mass Choir (with representatives from the Leicester Women’s Gospel Choir, Curve Gospel Choir & Rothley Gospel Choir); and a special contribution from a group of children and young people supported by Vista, who were musically trained by the charity and the society in the run up to the event.

The music and dance event is part of the Holosophic Society’s initiative to serve local communities. £2,000 will go towards supporting Vista, and the remaining £1,000 in aid of the society.

We are extremely grateful to the Holosophic Society UK and everyone who attended for making the event a huge success.

Thank you to employees Paula Varney, Jo Hicks & Anne Yafai for supporting our children and young people in preparing for the event; Steve Payne for being an excellent auctioneer; Pardy Gill, our new Vista Ambassador for his moving speech; and Paul Bott, Chief Executive, and his family for coming along to this special event.
