Local Optician, Henry Smith and Hamlyton support Vista’s Spring Raffle

Long term supporter Henry Smith and Hamlyton, an independent optician has kindly supported Vista’s spring raffle in celebration of the opticians 130th Birthday, donating prizes for the raffle. 

Tickets were £1 each, raising a total of almost £5000, tickets were sold through our charity shops, social groups, residential homes, head office, the Leicester Grammar School concert and supporters of Vista. 

The raffle was officially drawn on Thursday 29th March by Geoffrey Smith of Henry Smith and Hamlyton, Vista Chief Executive, Paul Bott and Louisa Hosegood, Chair of Trustees. 

- 1st prize winner - £1000 goes to Ms Dale 

- 2nd prize winner - £350 goes to…Mr Hill 

- 3rd Prize winner – 150 goes to … Mr Overend

Becky Poole, Community and Corporate Fundraiser at Vista said;

“We are delighted Henry Smith and Hamlyton donated the prizes for the spring raffle, giving away a fantastic 1st prize of £1,000. We appreciate their continued support and look forward to working together on future campaigns. Thank you to everyone that purchased a ticket and promoted the raffle to friends and family. It really does make a difference.”

Money raised from Vista’s spring raffle will go towards the many services for people affected by sight loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, such as rehabilitation, support for children and young people and residential services for adults with sight loss and learning difficulties.
