Mark takes on the 2020 London Marathon in memory of his Dad

Published on 4th March 2020 in Fundraising

On Sunday 26th April, Mark will be representing Team Vista in the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon.

Mark will conquer the iconic 26.2 mile route across London. He is raising money for Vista who helped his dad Kel, who suffered a stroke which took 80% of his sight, his worst fear.

Some dark times were ahead for Mark's dad Kel but when things looked uncertain, along came Eric from Vista. Eric helped Mark's dad to adapt to his sight loss, taking him out to teach him new ways of living with a disability like blindness.

Mark’s dad sadly passed away on 5th January and so he will be taking on the challenge of the Virgin Money London Marathon in memory of his Dad.

Please show your support and visit Mark’s Virgin Giving Money page or follow Mark’s Twitter page to read more about his story, follow his progress and help him to reach his fundraising target of £3,000.
