Vista and Partners celebrate lauch of Work.Live.Leicestershire

Published on 31st January 2019

This week saw the launch of Work.Live.Leicestershire (WiLL); a collaborative programme to help economically inactive or unemployed individuals living in rural Leicestershire to move into job search, training or employment.

At the Charles Booth Centre in Thringstone, all 8 partnership organisations came together on Tuesday the 29th of January to launch the 18-month project. Following initial networking, Vista CEO Susan Hoath introduced WiLL, with Director of New Opportunities Jamie MacKrill presenting the underpinning aspirations and logistics of the project moving forward.

WiLL hopes to provide a tailored service in order to progress work and wellbeing specific to tover 500 individuals across its duration. Once established in Hinkley, Bosworth, and North West Leicestershire, the project will then be helping residents within the rural Melton and Harborough areas thereafter.
