As a local charity supporting over 12,000 children and adults in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, many of our trustees have a personal experience of sight loss, and have had distinguished careers in industry, education and healthcare.
We're extremely proud of our strong Board of Trustees, who accept ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the charity and ensure that we remain solvent, well-run and meet the needs of our service users and to ensure effective succession planning, and introduce specific skills and experience to the board, we have now appointed three new trustees.Pauline Tagg MBE has been recruited as Chair of Trustees and has been Chair of East Midlands Ambulance Trust since 2013. Pauline has worked in the acute sector of the NHS for over 35 years as a nurse, midwife and senior manager.
