Chief Executive Officer

Beth joined the Vista team in July 2025 on an interim basis, with a specific remit to lead transformative change to ensure the charity is sustainable for the future to deliver greatest impact for people experiencing sight or dual sensory loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. 

Beth is a highly experienced CEO with a 20-year track record of transformational leadership with national and regional charities spanning environment, education, health and social care and training and employment. Growing up in a household with a parent with a disability shaped Beth’s understanding of the barriers faced by individuals in accessing opportunities and inclusion. This experience has been a driving force throughout Beth’s career in the charity sector where she has championed equity and inclusion. 

Beth holds an MBA, a postgraduate marketing diploma and is a qualified coach and mentor.  Outside of work, Beth runs a smallholding with 40 rescue animals, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her rescue dog, Noodle. She is Chair of national animal welfare charity Blue Cross, sits on the Board of the Youth Environmental Service, and is a trustee at Lantra, qualification awarding organisation and training provider in the land-based sector.  Beth loves to travel, and is currently learning Spanish.

Steve joined Vista in 2006, and is currently Director of Care and Services. His passion and commitment to provide high quality care in our community services continues. Using his skills in communication, experience and knowledge his ambitions are to lead Vista and influence society by working in partnership both locally and nationally. Being an expert adviser to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, his aims are to ensure that the needs of those affected by sight loss are met, including around accessible information and the built environment.

Director of Fundraising and Communications

Becky joined Vista in Autumn 2024 and is delighted to be working for Vista and supporting other people affected with vision impairment. Becky has a degenerative sight loss condition called Stargardts which is a childhood form of macular degeneration, which she was diagnosed with age 8.  She has worked in the charity sector for almost 20 years in service delivery, fundraising and strategic development.  Her biggest motivator at work is making a difference whether that’s to service users or staff.  Outside of work, Becky is a mum of two boys aged 5 and 2 and they love to get outdoors exploring the coast and countryside. Becky and her family enjoy travel, love food and look forward to going on some big adventures as the boys get older.
