Mince Pies For Eyes
Fundraise for people living with sight loss over the holidays.
Festivity is drawing near – but as you celebrate with family and friends over the holidays, why not do something which could make a difference to the 35,000 people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland?
This is where our brand new fundraising activity – ‘Mince Pies For Eyes’ – comes into action!
What is Mince Pies For Eyes?
Mince Pies For Eyes is a festive twist on the idea of a traditional coffee morning fundraiser.
It’s an opportunity for you to bring people together, discuss the importance of eye health, share a tasty treat and raise funds for Vista whilst you are doing it.
As the months get colder and the nights get darker, it’s a great way to inject warmth into your local community and bring people together.
How can I get involved?
We’ve designed Mince Pies For Eyes as something which people in our community can organise themselves – meaning the fundraiser can happen in different shapes and forms.
To help guide you, we’ve created a fundraising guide which you’ll find linked at the bottom of the page. This has handy advice around asking for donations, organising your event, and anything else you might need!
We know that organising your own fundraiser isn’t for everyone – which is why we’d like to use this invent to get the local community involved. Come and join us on the date below to indulge in some festive delights whilst also meeting some of the Vista team:
1st of December from 12pm - 2pm
Hosted at Vista, 3rd Floor, Provincial House, 37 New Walk, Leicester, LE1 6TE
If you have any other ideas for how you can support Vista over the holidays, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact our fundraising team at any time via fundraising@vistablind.org.uk.
