Vista is delighted to announce that last night Blaby District Council granted planning permission for the development of their site on Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East.

Vista is going to build a brand-new Centre for Sight Loss, acting as a central location from which all Vista services and functions can operate. It will contain staff offices, residential homes, eye health clinics, training suites, leisure facilities and more. It’ll be more than a building. It’ll be a hub for the sight loss community, transforming Vista as an organisation and the ways in which people with sight loss across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland receive support.

Now that permission has been granted Vista will work to further develop the designs and secure funding for the development, with an ambition to start building in 2023.
