The stage is set, the music is ready, and an extraordinary evening awaits you! We are pleased to announce that Musical Village’s highly anticipated Summer Concert is scheduled to take place on Saturday 19th August at 7:30pm at the stunning St Andrew’s Church, Leicester Forest East, LE3 3PF.

The event will begin with an exhibition to promote good eye health and raise awareness. It is free and open to the public from 6:30pm-7:30pm and will then be followed by a musical concert, featuring Vista’s Children and Young People choir and a variety of other local musicians. The comperes for the evening are Dave Andrews (former BBC Radio Leicester presenter and Deputy Lieutenant) and Libby Clegg MBE (double Paralympic champion).

Organiser Lesia Smaditch said “Thanks to the support of so many individuals and organisations, such as The Stoneygate Eye Hospital, 100% of money raised will be donated to Vista. We hope that this family event will both educate and entertain visitors and hope that as many people as possible can come out and support one of the oldest local charities in Leicester.”

Jean Voller, Chair of Trustees at Vista said "Vista’s Children and Young People choir thoroughly enjoy singing together, the rehearsals are such fun!

By supporting this concert you will not only have a thoroughly enjoyable evening but you will also help provide vital funds to let visually impaired children and young people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland enjoy other activities and learn new skills."

Tickets for the music concert will cost £10 for adults, £5 for ages 12-18, free for under 12, with 100% of the money raised from ticket sales going to Vista.

Tickets can be bought by calling 07873 254 279 or emailing vista@musicalvillage.co.uk.
