As Vista faces 2025 and beyond with a bold new strategy to strengthen its service delivery and impact for people living with and affected by sight loss across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Jean Voller, Chair of Trustees announces Louise Wright, CEO to step down. Louise will leave Vista in early July to take up the role of CEO of Changing Faces, a national charity for everyone with a visible difference.

Jean Voller, Chair of Trustees at Vista, said:

"We will miss Louise’s calm leadership, strategic vision and passion for putting people affected by sight loss at the centre of everything we do.  It is testament to her that we have a skilled leadership team who can continue Vista’s work as she steps down.  On behalf of everyone at Vista, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Louise and wish her the very best in her future role. The recruitment process has started for Vista’s next CEO.”

Louise joins Changing Faces on 21 July and says:

“It’s been a real pleasure to meet so many talented people affected by sight loss across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland many of whom have used their lived experiences to raise awareness, improve their environment and inspire others to achieve more. Vista provides life changing services, when people need us most and I’m proud to have played a part in ensuring our vital services plan to grow.  I’m looking forward to taking on my next role of Chief Executive at Changing Faces and joining another talented team.”
