To help Vista to continue supporting people affected by sight loss in these difficult times, we are launching an exciting new fundraiser.

Chris Hammond, one of the people Vista support came up with the idea of the 'Tour De Vista'.

Inspired by the 2.6 Challenge, Chris would like as many people as possible to join him in cycling 87 miles virtually during the week of 27th July - 31st July 2020.

The virtual route will cover all of our Vista charity shops and care homes and will start from our Head Office on New Walk in Leicester. The distance to be covered each day will range from 7.5 miles to 24 miles, it's entirely up to you how you split the distance across the days and it doesn't have to be done in one go.

The route:

Day 1 - New Walk - New Wycliffe Home – Oakham shop = 22 miles

Day 2 - Oakham shop – Syston shop – Rothley shop = 21 miles

Day 3 - Rothley shop – Loughborough shop (to say goodbye) – Shepshed shop = 12.5 miles

Day 4 - Shepshed shop – KRH/Applegarth – Wigston shop – 24 miles

Day 5 - Wigston shop – Simmins Crescent – New Walk – 7.5 miles

The Tour De Vista can be completed on a static bike if you have one at home, or at a gym where lockdown measures will allow. Alternatively, the distance could be done on a bike around your local area.

We're asking you to complete this fundraising challenge virtually.
