Beth is a highly experienced CEO with a 20 year track record of transformational leadership with national and regional charities including; the Carers Federation and the  ICAS (Independent Complaints and Advocacy Service) for the NHS.

Growing up in a household with a parent with a disability shaped Beth’s understanding of the barriers faced by individuals in accessing opportunities and inclusion. This experience has been a driving force throughout Beth’s career in the charity sector where she has championed equity and inclusion.

Speaking about her appointment, Beth says:

“I am very much looking forward to starting with Vista and meeting the passionate and dedicated staff and volunteer team. Vista is a charity which resonates deeply with my personal values.   I’m delighted to have the opportunity to continue to champion the charity’s transformational work with people affected by sight loss.”

Jean Voller, Chair of Trustees, Vista, says;

“Beth brings a wealth of experience from across the charity sector.  Her compassion and dedication to her work aligns well with Vista’s vision and values.   Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes to Louise Wright for her incredible work with Vista and leading the charity through a transformational period.”

Beth Brook takes on the interim CEO role from Louise Wright on 3 July. Louise will be joining the visible difference charity Changing Faces as their CEO.  Louise’s vision and determination has left Vista with a bold new strategy and business plan, ensuring Vista is here for the long-term.
