Jean Voller, Trustee at Vista has been shortlisted for ‘Trustee of the Year’ at The VAL Awards 2022, taking place on Friday 16th September at The Mercure Grand Leicester.

The Awards recognises and rewards the work carried out within the Voluntary sector over the past 18 months and is hugely valued and needed. To mark the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II at the very start of the event, there will be a 2 minute’s silence.

Jean has been a Vista volunteer for some time, throwing herself into children’s activities and our early intervention projects and helping us explore new ways for the charity to get involved in health and social care and support.

Jean Voller, Trustee at Vista said:

“This nomination came completely out of the blue and I am overwhelmed to have reached the final. I get so much from my time spent with Vista and for me that is a reward in itself. Thank you everyone.”

Susan Hoath, CEO at Vista said:

“Vista is absolutely delighted to see Jean Voller nominated for a VAL Trustee of the Year Award. Jean has had a long-standing relationship with Vista through her professional career in the NHS and we are so grateful that she chose to continue this after she retired, bringing her knowledge, energy and passion to the charity and the people we support."
