Community Support Worker

We have a full time (37 hours per week) post working Monday to Friday, with the requirement to work occasional weekends and some unsocial hours to meet the needs of the service.  

In this role you will;

• carry out enablement support as required, support people to access their community through their preferred method of travel
• work with people within their own homes or transport service users to agreed destinations
• enable the individual to access their own community, ensuring that the person’s choice is exercised fully.

Experience of working with visually impaired people is essential, as well as proven verbal and written communication skills.
