Vista's virtual activity session - Gardening with Doug Stewart

Doug Stewart is a trained as a professional horticulturist and worked in roles as diverse as a lecturer in cucumber and tomato production, and a pumpkin grower, plant propagator, interior landscaper and garden designer. Doug is the co-presenter of The Great Outdoors, a two-hour gardening phone in on BBC Radio Humberside. For over 20 years Doug worked at a leading land-based college as Head of Horticulture, for the last 15 years he has been working as a horticultural business consultant, speaker, and trainer.

During this virtual session, you will set up a windowsill seed sprouter.

You will need:

1 Jam Jar

1 packet of micro greens

Some thin muslin/cheesecloth

We will use this session to set up a micro greens farm.
