Vista is on the lookout for new trustees – could you be the next member of our board?

Vista changes lives. We are an independent, local charity and the leading provider of services to children and adults affected by sight loss.

As part of the routine rotation of board members, we are looking to recruit new trustees to strengthen our board.

“Our Trustees are really special people.  They bring a diverse range of perspectives and skills to provide strategic vision, create opportunities and hold the whole Vista team to account.  The past two years have been challenging for so many charities and we are extremely grateful for the support of our trustees, keeping us going through-out and making sure that we continue to plan for the future.”  Susan Hoath (CEO)

“It is a great privilege to be Chair of Trustees at Vista. Our Trustees are amazing local people who give so generously their time and expertise. If you want to be part of a great team – come and join us!”  Pauline Tagg, MBE (Chair)

Vista wants to hear from people from a range of backgrounds, including charity finance; HR; marketing; fundraising; capital project delivery; community development and lived experience of sight loss.

Vista is a local charity, and so it is important that our trustees have strong connections to the diverse communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

To arrange an informal chat about the role or to request information in an alternative format please call us on 0116 249 8839.

Our trustees are volunteers, but we will provide training and support and all reasonable expenses will be paid.
