Information on behalf of the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group

Published on 1st October 2020 in General

We have been asked by the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group to share information about their ‘Building Better Hospitals for the future’ consultation which has now begun.

The NHS would like your views on their £450 million proposals to transform acute and maternity services at Leicester’s hospitals. They include moving acute care to the Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital, new and refurbished buildings, a doubling of intensive care capacity and a community health campus for the General Hospital with the possible relocation of a midwifery led unit from Melton Mowbray.

You can see the proposals on their website and fill in a questionnaire to give your views.

One way you can have your say is to be part of this consultation by:

  • Visiting the website to find out more: https://www.betterhospitalsleicester.nhs.uk/
  • Requesting a copy of the questionnaire for you to fill in at home or to arrange to complete the questionnaire with a member of staff
  • Telephone them on 0116 295 0750
