We are delighted to announce that Julie Rudd, who recently retired from her role as Registered Manager at New Wycliffe Home won the award for Care Home Registered Manager last night at the Great British Care Awards - East Midlands Regional Awards 2020.

After an incredible 45 years in the care sector starting at the age of 21, Julie was manager in Vista’s home for nearly 30 years. It is all about family to Julie -  the residents, the staff team and the relatives. Everything that Julie does is focused on making life as good as it can be for the residents.

Julie Rudd said:

“I am in shock and so proud to be awarded The Care Home Registered Manager Award, there were about 10 people nominated for the category! I just want to thank everyone for their support over the years.”

Susan Hoath CEO of Vista says: “We are immensely proud of Julie’s achievement in winning this award. She has been an exceptional manager at New Wycliffe Home, creating a happy and caring home for all of our residents over many years.”

Julie is not fully retiring yet and continues to work part time for Vista as part of the admissions team.
