Leicester Ageing Together tackles social
isolation and loneliness amongst older people. The last few months have
demonstrated how important being online is, but there are barriers for many
older people. Can you help us address these and get more older people online?
You
will manage our small GO-LAT – Get Online with Leicester Ageing Together –
project using volunteers who you will train to help older people get online and
feel confident using a range of training approaches.
You must have experience of:
supporting older people to use technology,
training and supervising volunteers and of working on your own initiative,
partnership working with external agencies
You will be joining a talented and committed team reducing social isolation and loneliness amongst older people across the city.
This post is fixed term until end March 2021 (with the possibility of an extension)
